My primary duties as HR coordinators are to support HR managers/teams with hiring, maintaining personnel files, and processing payroll. Their administrative responsibilities include organizing
workplace training sessions, creating reports regarding what is happening about the employee they are holding, and scheduling interviews to gathered more applicants for the growth and development of headcount. Being an HR coordinator is challenging for me because it is similar to solving a mathematical error in which you will go through trial and error because there will be applicants who pass and applicants who fail. In terms of headcount, it fluctuates between increasing and decreasing, but the only tool we have is to be patient and responsible in continuously finding applicants to increase the number of employees.
We as part of HR coordinators are often responsible for multiple tasks and must be able to accomplish them in a timely and prioritized manner. It involves answering all the queries of the employee and giving them feedback about different concerns that they are encountering in their area, monitoring applicants and daily attendance, encoding all the 201 files of the active and inactive employee and also making the time keeping for the payroll. I am very blessed to be part of this team because I learned a lot and looking forward for more opportunities and improvement in different aspect.
